Revolutionary Spies

Step back in time and become a secret agent of the American Revolution at the Summerville Museum and Research Center’s exciting children’s program, Revolutionary Spies of 1776: The Museum Adventure for Junior Agents! Young historians will uncover the fascinating stories of real spies, messengers, and everyday heroes who helped secure America’s independence. Participants will learn how secret codes were used during the Revolutionary War, create their own cipher cards, and embark on a special museum scavenger hunt filled with clues and hidden missions.

Perfect for children ages 6 and up, this hands-on adventure combines history, problem-solving, and fun as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary.
