We have openings for Volunteer Interpreters to guide our guests through the chronology of Summerville from early days all the way to the modern era. You can also volunteer for Special Events (Third Thursday, Flowertown Festival, School visits), Speaker Bureau, Kids Club, Gardening, and maintenance.

The Museum is a key participant in the Town’s 175th anniversary celebration. We would like you to join us in that.

Although the position is volunteer, it is not without compensation and value. All of our volunteers receive Reciprocity Passes to over 50 local and regional museums, galleries, plantations and other points of interest. You will save hundreds of dollars of entry fees with this valuable pass.
